In the last 42 years, Donald W. Swoboda has risen to prominence inside the field of greater education recognized as an authority in leadership development and nonprofit university administration. He now thrives as the Dean of Extended Studying and Outreach at Western Kentucky University, responsible for overseeing all of its operations across three regional campuses. Mr. Swoboda holds a Ph.D. in adult and continuing education, a master’s degree in agricultural education along with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, economics and business from the University of Nebraska. An active member of his specialist community, he maintains affiliations with the following organizations: Kentucky Association for Continuing Greater Education, Bowling Green Location Chamber of Commerce (board member), University Council for Educational Administration, Association for Continuing Greater Education, University Continuing Education Association, National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges, The University of Continuing Education Association.
