GRESHAM, OR, December 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ — Sosamma P. Zachariah Lindsay Ph.D., RN, Retired International Nursing Education Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
With a total of 50 years of field expertise, Ms. Lindsay has worked as an international nursing education consultant. She developed an expertise in cardiac care, cancer research, obstetrics and gynecology. In her position, Ms. Lindsay was responsible for planning curriculum for collegiate programs worldwide. She acquired an interest in nursing although she attended high school in India; she began studying this field when she was 17 years old.
Ms. Lindsay received a Ph.D. in education from Walden University, as well as a master’s degree in community nursing from San Jose State University. In addition, she has earned certifications in oncology, cardiac care, and rehabilitation and counseling for drug abuse. Her past memberships incorporate The American Nurses Association, the National League of Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International along with the International Association of Nursing. Ms. Lindsay established the first collegiate program in Kenya and performed consultations for collegiate nursing programs in India, China, Macao and Africa. Within the near future she plans to develop projects in community nursing in India.
